This omelette is so big, it shared between few people.
When a waiter cut it, they beat silver plate loudly.
Therefore, it is one of performance for tourist.

Next, I will explain this special omelette's history.

Madame Annette Poulard opened small hotel in1888.

She had been cooked over 50years and 700recipes.

That omelette was one of her special recipe.

She cooked it because many pilgrimwho go to La Mont Saint-Michel came hotel with hunger.

She thought of making easily dish for them. Therefore, this omelette was born!

She put in egg and fresh cream into copper bowl and mixed many times.

Then, baked it copper pan on firewood.

If you want to eat it, I recommend going to France.

The restaurant located in Le Mont Saint-Michel.

In addition, there are some tour which go to there with lunch.

Spanish food

This week, I went to Spanish reataurant "Cala Montjoi" with seminar member and professor.

It located in near Makuhari station.

The professor chose it becuse his specialty is Spanish studying.

We enjoyed drinking spanish wine and eating paella and Churros.

There were many kinds of it. For example, nomal, squid ink and red pepper.

After eating, the professor told us about Paella.

We may think that Paella is a rice dish with sea food.

However, Paella means pan in Spanish.

People use very big pan in the festival.

Look at top picture!

In addition, Each spanish home have own paella pan.

They don't eat paella everyday. Their usual dish is healthy.

I was surprised at it because there are many oily food in spanish cuisine.

We also heard about Churros.

In Japan, it is known as sweets with sugar.

However, there are no one with sugar in Spain.

It looks like bread , he said.

I learned many spanish culture through that dinner!

Overcome summer lethargy!

Recently, my friends suffer from summer heat.

They lose energy and seem to be tired.

I also get tired from recent hot temperature.

Then, I decide to search the food style which prevent summer lethargy.

The most important thing is eat well-balanced diet.

We have to eat meal three times in a day even though you don't have appetite.

There are some nutrients which are good for body.

Vitamin B1 is good for recovering fatigue.

Foods which contains it are pork, eel and products of soybean.

Vitamin C is for increasing resistance of stress and heat.

Vegetables and fruits have that nutrition.

If you don't have appetite, add some spices or acid seasoning to dish.

For example, wasabi, red pepper, ume and vinegar.

You will get appetite from those items.

Yesterday, I cooked a dinner to overcome summer lethargy.
Salad with pork, tofu, juice pressed from bitter oranges(pon-zu) and Plums.
I think this dish is good for this summer because I made it easily and got short nutritions.
